World Cup 2010 Predictions: Group D
This group looks more equalized, at least by looking at the odds.
Serbia will meet Ghana on the 13th in 15:00 BST, while Germany will play against Australia in the same day but at 19:30 BST.
Apparently I have missed watching Serbia’s qualification rounds as well as Ghana’s but they are considered the main rivals for the 2nd spot in the group.
Even the Germans are not considered a sure winner, since we know that they tend to struggle a bit in the beginning of the tournaments.
Here are the odds in BETFAIR.COM for this group:

I personally find that 1.99 for Germany top stop to be quite attractive, and I am wondering what’s the catch here. I do realize that might be hard for them to get their games against Serbia and Ghana, but you know what they say “Football is a simple games, 22 men chase a ball for 90 minutes and in the end the Germans win” so just remember that when you place your bets.
Apparently Serbia has impressed with their qualification rounds a lot the bookmakers and they are favored for the 2nd place. They topped the group where France was participating as well, so this gotta mean something. That 1.95 seems good, but they will be lacking of crowd support perhaps.
Ghana topped their group in Africa, and they should have a lot of support since it’s closer for their fans to fly to SA and cheer them up. This after all might be an important factor and those odds of 2.28 might be perfect for your betting slip.
Australia is considered the outsider here. I really doubt they are capable of qualifying here. The odds are quite good and will result in a great profit, but they are just not realistic.
Our prediction for this table would be:
|Group A||Group B||Group C||Group D||Group E||Group F||Group G||Group H|
