Heurelho Gomes latest howler

After the latest blooper from Heurelho Gomes, a lot has been said. A lot of criticism was said to his address, but believe it or not, he is a quality goalkeeper and has far more important saves than mistakes. Sadly fans often forget that fast.
Heurelho da Silva Gomes, born in 1981, or as most of you know him as Heurelho Gomes, is a goalkeeper in Tottenham Hotspur. An excellent goalkeeper admired by many, that sometimes has the habit of making silly mistakes leading to goals or NOT. Here’s his latest howler against Chelsea, where on a first glance an easy ball slipped between his hands and almost went in. The sideman however couldn’t see much and gave the goal to Chelsea.
A lot of criticism, a lot of exaggerated comparisons from “the worst goalkeeper ever” to “not worth anything”. Just as a reminder you might want to view back his history. Gomes has a lot of successful games in his career, and here’s just a fraction of some of his brilliant saves:
Without doubt he’s got class. Yes we have witnessed silly mistakes, and yes it will be good if he clears those up, but nonetheless he is one of the best goalkeepers that has played for Tottenham.
