Premier League 2015/16 Betting Offers & PreviewPosted by: Mitko Atanasov in Jul, 2015
Note:A long post (at least 10 minutes of reading) including a lot of betting odds, pictures and overall betting preview of Premier League 2015
Bet365.com considers Chelsea as a favorite to win Premier League 2015/16, giving you “to Win Outright” odds @ 2.50. Expected of course considering that the team won the trophy last season with 89 points, 8 ahead of the second team Manchester City.
Jose Mourinho has already ‘fired shots’, being controversial as always, accusing his rival competitors of “trying to buy the title“. Mourinho, who spent close to £100m back in 2004 accused the top teams of spending hefty amount of cash, in an attempt to strengthen up and win the title.
So far Chelsea has around £13m, buying goalkeeper Asmir Begovic from Stoke City for £8.5m and Nathan a midfielder from Atletico PR for £3.5m. The other two additions for the team are Danilo Pantic from Partizan Belgrade as a free agent and Radamel Falcao on a loan from Monaco after a horrible first season in Manchester United with just 4 goals in 26 appearances.
Odds decision, but we will see if it will pay off. The ‘special one’ always knows what’s best for his team, so it would be interesting how Falcao will fit with his team formation. If you trust that Chelsea will lift the trophy this season as well place your outright bet @ 2.50 (odds may have changed) below now, or continue to read more. Please note that this market closes on August 8th at 12:30 UK time.
Manchester City placed 2nd last season, but the team has already spent a great amount of cash to improve their squad. The new names in the team so far are: Enes Unal an attacker from Bursaspor for 3 million euro, Raheem Sterling from Liverpool for a whopping 69.4 million euro, Patrick Roberts an attacker from Fulham for 7.2 million euro and Fabian Delph from Aston Villa for 11.2 million euro.
A lot of drama was created around Raheem Sterling, who continuously expressed his unhappiness in Liverpool (forever hated by fans now?) and demanded a transfer. Manchester City are priced to win outright Premier League 2015/16 @ 3.75. Whether the new acquisitions will be enough and if their cost is justified, we have a whole season to see. As money are never problem for Man City, we doubt their record transfers will stop here, and if things aren’t going well by Christmas, we expect more cash to be spent in the winter transfer window.
Since Manchester City invested heavily in its squad the team has won 2 titles, one in 2011-12 and one in 2013-14. After being a runner-up in 2014-15, can this be their year continuing their pattern getting the title every other season? Place your ‘to win outright’ bet on Manchester City @ 3.75 below. For yet another season Arsenal remained without a title, an unfortunate fact for all fans. The team was never popular for spending big money on transfers and so far remains loyal to its policy, buying just Petr Cech for 14 million euro. Whether Wenger will spend more cash on new transfers, there’s still time to see.
Arsenal are priced ‘to win outright’ Premier League 2015/16 @ 5.50. Meanwhile news report that the Gunners are close to sealing a deal for Marco Amelia the goalkeeper from AC Milan. In their pre-season games Arsenal has been outstanding, with most recent demolishing victory in the Emirates Cup against Lyon with 6-0.
Rumors are that Wenger has a disposal of close to £200m to strengthen his squad, but there are still 37 days left until transfer window closes. Meanwhile Ramsey and Ozil are ‘clicking’ extremely well in the pre-season games, making a promising start. Alexis Sanchez is still on his extended vacation due to the Copa America 2015. Cazorla and Walcott started on the bench, but are expected to get more play time as the season closes.
Arsenal has and has always had a good squad, worthy of winning a title, but each season something gets on the way and they miss it by just a bit. Has Wenger finally figured out the recipe to win a precious Premier League trophy? Place your bet on Arsenal ‘to win outright’ Premier League 2015/16 @ 5.50 below. Have another favorite? More about other teams below:
Other teams worth mentioning as direct competitors for the title this season? Manchester United of course, though we are uncertain if Louis Van Gaal has found the recipe to break thought the Premier League.
The new additions to the team will definitely improve the squad: Bastian Schweinsteiger from Bayern for 20.25m euro, Memphis Depay from PSV for 34m euro, Morgan Schneiderlin from Southampton for 34m euro.
While Angel Di Maria remains under question as he has agreed on transfer to PSG, nothing is official yet. Lots of potential in this player and his performance seemed noticeable in United, so the transfer seems a bit of a mystery. The outright betting odds for Manchester United to win Premier League 2015/16 are @ 6.00.
Another direct competitor Liverpool is given odds of 21.00 to win Premier League 2015/16 by bet365. The team has spent close to 100m euro in transfers but after they have managed to sell Raheem Sterling for close to 70m euro, it’s normal for the team to have extra cash for transfers.
Who’s coming to the team? Christian Benteke from Aston Villa for 46.5m euro, Roberto Firmino from Hoffenheim for 41m euro, Joe Gomez from Charlton for 9m euro, Nathaniel Clyne from Southampton for 17.9m euro, as well as the free agents Adam Bogdan from Bolton and James Milner from Manchester City.
The odds for the remaining teams of Premier League, drastically go up. Tottenham is price to win season 2015/16 @ 101.00, Southampton and Everton @ 251.00, Bet365’s very own Stoke City @ 1001.00. Who else if not Manchester City’s ‘Golden Boy” Sergio Aguero, is a favorite to top the Top Goalscorer table this season with odds @ 4.00 by bet365.com. There’s something magical about the Argentinian strikers. They posses a spirit that just pulls the whole team ahead. Would you disagree that Messi is the heart of Barcelona, or that Tevez wasn’t the spirit of Manchester City for 4 years?
In the exact same manner, Aguero is leading his team hoping for more cups and trophies season after season. With 120 appearances and 78 goals, the Argentinian has surpassed his Atletico Madrid record of 175 appearances and 74 goals.
Next on the list is Diego Costa @ 6.50, who despite of his rough start in the Premier League, managed to bag 26 goals in 20 appearances. The Spanish football player born in Brazil, was rumored to be “unhappy” in London, wanting to leave, but these rumors have been debunked, and we are assured he’d stay in Chelsea for at least another season.
Both Harry Kane (Tottenham) and England’s favourite Wayne Rooney (Manchester United) have odds to top the table @ 13.00. While Kane remained competitive last season and bagged 21 goals to become a runner up for the title Top Goalscorer, Wayne Rooney managed to score just 12 goals last season sitting in the middle of the table at the 10th spot.
Arsenal may have finally found their striker in the face of Alexis Sanchez, who managed to score 16 goals in 35 appearances in his first Premier League season. Not a lot of players can brag about adjusting so fast to the English football play-style, especially in Premier League. He’s priced to top the table of Top Goalscorer @ 17.00.
A lot of choices a lot of players. Here are some of the other noticeable players: Memphis Depay (Man Utd) @ 26.00; Eden Hazard (Chelsea) @ 26.00; Radamel Falcao (Chelsea) @ 34.00; Edin Dzeko (Man City) @ 51.00; Raheem Sterling (Man City) @ 81.00; Theo Walcott (Arsenal) @ 34.00;

All of the top teams were given pre-season odds to go unbeaten in season 2015/16. Favoured is Chelsea @ 126.00 to finish the season unbeaten followed by: Man City @ 201.00; Arsenal @ 251.00; Man United @ 301.00 and Liverpool @ 1001.00.
One team has achieved this so far and this is Arsenal back in season 2003/04. The team recorded then W26-D12-L0, finishing first with 90 points, 11 ahead of its competitors. The only other team ever achieved this in the history of English Football is Preston North End more than a century ago. For this both teams gain the title “The Invincibles”.
Can Mourinho’s defensive style, bright this title to Chelsea? Can this be finally Arsenal’s season and redo what they achieved back in 2003? Place your bets below or keep reading for more pre-season Premier League betting offers:
